The open-air lounge area is luxuriously furnished with welcoming leather chairs and sofas, sheltered by a thatched roof adorned with bursts of colour from individually crafted mosaic tiles. It’s a delightful space where you can unwind alone, soaking in the picturesque scenery, or mingle with fellow guests, exchanging tales of the day’s adventures. Wi-Fi is accessible in this area, along with a centralized charging station. Our splendid new Spa has rapidly gained popularity among all our guests, providing indulgent massages, manicures, and pedicures.
We feature 6 standard tents, each accommodating 2 people. Additionally, Changa safari camp Zimbabwe offers two sets of interconnected family tents, allowing children to move freely between their tent and their parents’ abode with complete safety and privacy. All tents feature a traditional safari olive canvas and have been meticulously screened to keep mosquitoes at bay, allowing you to drift off to sleep comfortably with a gentle breeze and the distant echoes of the wilderness. Each tent has been uniquely adorned with an influence from East Africa.
The cuisine at Changa Safari Camp is sure to be a highlight of your sojourn. Utilizing only the freshest ingredients, the flavors and presentation of each dish will leave you eagerly anticipating the next meal. Both breakfast and lunch are served al fresco on the main elevated deck, either beneath the shaded open-air dining room or beneath the sprawling Zig-zag Terminalia tree overlooking the private beach.
In the afternoon, we offer a delightful tea service featuring a variety of teas, local coffee, and delectable sweet treats. A candlelit dinner, accompanied by the rhythmic beat of drums, awaits you at 7.30pm, set in a different location each evening of your stay.
The freshness of the early mornings might find you embarking on a guided stroll, where nature’s intricate details come sharply into view. Perhaps a game drive is more to your liking, offering the opportunity to venture farther afield, circling around to the flood plain and the crimson sandy coastline where the local lion pride is often spotted.
