PAYMENT TERMS
Wild Sunsets Tours payment terms and conditions are dictated by those terms and conditions imposed by our suppliers. Terms vary considerably from supplier to supplier. However, our general payment terms, unless otherwise stated, are:
• A deposit of 25% of the total cost of the safari is required at the time of booking.
• A non-refundable deposit of 100% of the total cost for all park activity and trekking permits is required at the time of booking.
• The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to travel (The Cancellation Policy)
• For bookings made within 60 days of travel the total booking cost is payable at confirmation.
• In case of any dispute, only the disputed amount should be withheld, and all other monies owed to Wild Sunsets Tours should be paid as normal.
• All prices are based on 6 passengers sharing, during the low seasonal visitor trends and without international flight bookings. Wild Sunsets Tours reserves the right to amend the prices at any time before a booking is made. Wild Sunsets Tours will confirm a fixed price quotation together with our confirmation of your booking.
• All payments should be made to Wild Sunsets Tours and failure to pay by given deadlines may result in cancellation of all agreed services.
• All rates quoted by Wild Sunsets Tours are inclusive of current statutory taxes but are subject to change in case of any tax fluctuation, levy increase (such as fuel surcharge) or other charges imposed by the governments of the country/s the programme falls within, airlines or other suppliers.
• Prices are quoted and charged in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
• Inclusions and exclusions for specific programmes will be clearly stated on the proposal sent to you by Wild Sunsets Tours. Any item not specifically mentioned in the inclusions should be assumed not to be included.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations are only effective on receipt of written notification via email. The date of cancellation will be taken to be the date that written notification is received by Wild Sunsets Tours.
The Cancellation Policy varies from supplier to supplier and Wild Sunsets Tours will confirm exact details for each booking. However, our general cancellation terms, unless otherwise stated, are as follows:
Cancellations received up to 61 days before the safari date, will incur a 25% charge (that is, the deposit will be forfeited ).
Cancellations received between 60 and 31 days before the safari date, will incur a 50% charge of the total cost.
Cancellations received 30 days before the safari date will incur a ‘No Show’ charge of 100% of the total cost.
No refunds will be given by Wild Sunsets Tours for no-shows.
The payment of bank fees for bank transfers are the responsibility of the customer and are strictly non-refundable.
The trip may be cancelled with no penalty charge should war, a life-threatening epidemic, or any other natural catastrophe or similar event occur within 14 days prior to departure. This will however be on the condition that your government advises against travelling to the specific area, and that the situation in question has arisen after the booking of the tour was made.
Cancellations must be made in writing and delivered either by hand, post, fax or electronic mail.
In the case of death or serious illness, special cancellation terms can be negotiated if Wild Sunsets Tours is presented with an officially-approved death/sickness certificate.
