8 Nights Gabon
Sette Cama is located in the heart of Gabon’s Loango National Park. The park is home to some of the most spectacular wildlife on the continent, including elephants, gorillas, chimpanzees, hippos, and crocodiles, among others.
The park’s pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters are ideal for fishing, with numerous species of fish found in the region.
Tarpon, Cubera snapper, and giant African threadfin are just a few of the species that can be found in the park’s waters, making it a paradise for anglers.
In addition to fishing, visitors to Sette Cama can also explore the park’s vast forests, savannas, and wetlands, with guided tours available for those who want to learn more about the region’s wildlife and natural beauty.
Fly fishing for tarpon, jacks, and other species is a popular option for anglers, who can wade or fish from a boat in search of their target species.
The abundance of large and aggressive game fish, including tarpon, jacks, and snappers, all eager to attack a well-fished lure, is complemented by Africa’s most pristine tropical rainforest, creating a breathtaking backdrop for this one-of-a-kind saltwater fishing experience.
Overall, Gabon offers a unique and rewarding saltwater fishing experience, with its pristine coastline, estuary system, and diverse range of species making it a must-visit destination for any serious angler.
Sette Cama not only provides a world-class fishing experience but also offers a unique West African wilderness adventure.
Visitors can add safari activities to their fishing trip, such as gorilla trekking with pygmy trackers and a host of traditional jungle and West African safari activities, making it an excellent option for non-fishing companions.
Visitors can embark on guided walks to observe chimpanzees, lowland gorillas, red riverine hogs, forest sitatunga, numerous forest duikers, and monkeys, as well as the unique sightings of forest elephants and buffalos along the beach.
The park is also renowned for its unique birds, with a chance to spot vermiculated fishing owls, chocolate-backed kingfishers, whitecrowned tiger herons, and many others.
Located on the boundary of Loango National Park, the Sette Cama camp offers a highly exclusive experience for those looking to enjoy both the fishing and wildlife of this untouched venue.
The camp is accessible only by helicopter, which adds to the sense of adventure and remoteness of the location.
